GRILLIN' during FINALS

So Taylor and I have been grilling like crazy because it's been nice enough out and well before all the huge snow hits we want as much stuff on the grill as we can. It's so delicious. Actually, I really want an indoor grill and I am asking for that for my birthday which is in one month, one week, and 2 days!
THE BIG 21 man!

One more final tomorrow night and I'm done. Time to celebrate and go home to my puppies and family! :)

Here's the t-bone steak, asparagus and twice baked potato. I'm sure you are sick of seeing the asparagus but it's healthy and so good. Taylor grilled the steaks with a rub I got from Madeira Beach this past spring break. Espresso steak rub. Phenomenal! I ate the entire steak too! Little girl with that big steak..yep I did it!
Twice baked potato: Boil in pot with water until about tender. Take them out and let them cool so you can handle them.  Spoon out the inside and put in a bowl. Add sour cream, shredded cheese (way better if you shred yourself may I add) and salt, pepper, garlic. Add bacon too if you have it. Mix together and put in potato shell and bake in oven at 350 degrees until lightly brown on top.
Asparagus: You should know that recipe by now. Look below if not :)

Now for tonight's meal...grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, zucchini and french bread.
Taylor grilled the chicken. I am not allowed to because he is the grill master of course haha. Can't take him out of his element! But he did add my rub from spring break yet again. It was a hickory bbq rub kind of spicy. While grilling if you add a touch of bbq sauce it caramelizes the chicken. Sweet & spicy!
It was some of the best chicken I have ever had. Moist and tasty!! Thank gosh for my bf lol.
Potatoes: Boil until tender with garlic salt (flavors potatoes because they are bland like pasta). Drain then mash with fork. Add heavy cream, 1/4 stick of butter, salt and pepper. Heat up again on stove.
Zucchini: slice up and put one pat of butter in a pan. Cook both sides and when they are golden brown, it's perfect.
French bread: Put in oven for a little bit to heat up. Dip it in a blend of spices (bought in a container) and add olive oil.

Little dessert of course is always needed...PUPPY CHOW! Yummy. Peanut butter, chocolate, butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, and rice chex. Everyone knows this recipe.

Happy December everybody!

isn't it LOvely :)
